The Keuka College Department of Athletics has hired Kyle Dacey as the new head coach for the Cross Country and Track and Field teams in August 2018.

Dacey came to Keuka Park following a stint as Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach at Finger Lakes Community College.

While with the Lakers, Dacey oversaw the day-to-day operations of the cross country program, including implementing a training program, recruiting, and teaching the student-athletes in the areas of running, strength, and nutrition. The men's program for the Lakers finished in the top three in the region last season and placed 13th at the NJCAA National Championship. The women's side posted a third place finish in the Mid-State Athletic Conference in 2017.

"Kyle will be a great addition to Keuka College," said Director of Athletics David Sweet. "He is an accomplished runner in his own right and has a lot of energy and passion towards coaching and developing the student-athletes in all aspects of their college career."

Kyle Dacey also assisted with the Finger Lakes Community College Track and Field teams. He will make history at Keuka College as the first Track and Field Head Coach in school history. With the Lakers, Dacey helped guide FLCC to a 15th place finish at the national championships for the women and a 22nd place finish for the men.
