Keuka College's women's cross country team traveled to Cazenovia, N.Y. to compete in the annual Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational, and the Storm placed third Saturday.
Freshman Victoria Grisdale (Hilton, NY/Hilton) took first among the Storm's student-athletes for the fourth straight meet.
In a field of 35 runners, Grisdale completed the 5K course in a time of 24 minutes and one second. Grisdale placed seventh among scoring runners as the Storm scored 66 points.
Host Cazenovia won the team title by scoring 31 points, followed by Paul Smith's College (50), Keuka and SUNYIT (86).
Chloe Mattilio from Paul Smith's College won the individual title in a time of 21:08.
For the third straight meet, sophomore Allison Bonin (Orwell, Pa./Northeast Bradford) was Keuka's second fastest runner, racing in 24:12 to place eighth among scoring runners.
Sophomore Caitlin Jones (Weedsport, NY/Weedsport) finished 17th with a time of 22:11; sophomore Jennifer Vigo (Watervilet, NY/Shaker) was 19th in a time of 27:35; and junior Elizabeth Ryan (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) was 20th with a time of 27:38.
Keuka takes a week off before closing the season with the annual CCOC Championships (Oct. 19) and the NEAC Championships (Nov. 2).
