ALFRED, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost on Tuesday evening in straight sets at Alfred University.
Alfred University 3 (25, 25, 25) vs. Keuka College 0 (21, 19, 14)
The Wolves got out to an early lead against the Saxons, going ahead 10-8 in the first following a kill by Buddingh. However, Alfred rattled off eight straight points to take advantage of the set. They continued onto the 25-21 victory.
In the second set, the same pattern played out with Keuka taking a 10-9 lead. Alfred once again responded. They scored seven of the next eight points to take the lead in the set. The Saxons went up 2-0 in the match after winning the second set 25-19.
In the third set, the offense struggled for the Wolves, committing eight errors. Conversely, Alfred had their best offensive output in the match with 12 kills. The Saxons took the third 25-14, winning the match 3-0.

Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves return to conference play on Friday night at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center. Keuka College will host Penn College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference match. The Wolves defeated the Wildcats in straight sets last season.
