WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team closed the weekend with a straight set North Eastern Athletic Conference victory over Wilson College.
The Wolves (12-8, 6-4 NEAC) have a week off before returning to conference play. Keuka College will travel to SUNY Poly to face the Wildcats, Morrisville State, and SUNY Cobleskill next weekend.
As a team, Keuka College had 18 aces in the win, led by Kate Burke with six. She also had a match-high 10 digs. Jadine Buddingh led the offense with seven kills for Keuka and Tally McDonald added five in the win.
The Wolves came out fast against Wilson College and established an early lead. An ace by Rachel Bartosz closed out the first set for Keuka College 25-11.
Once again, Keuka established an early lead in the set and rode it to a 25-9 victory. The defense for the Wolves did not allow a kill for Wilson College in the set. Overall in the match, Keuka College limited Wilson to just four kills. The Wolves took the final set 25-13, winning the conference match against Wilson College 25-13.
