Wolves Volleyball Falls at RIT

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost to hosts Rochester Institute of Technology on Tuesday night in straight sets.

The Wolves (3-1) will have some time off to prepare for their North Eastern Athletic Conference opener. They will next face Penn St.-Abington, St. Elizabeth, and Bryn Athyn in an NEAC Crossover on September 17 and 18 in Bryn Athyn, Pa.

Tally McDonald led Keuka's attack with nine kills. Alyssa Rex finished with 14 assists and Kate Burke had 13 digs.

RIT jumped out to an early lead over the Green and Gold. They maintained a comfortable margin throughout the opening set on their way to the 25-18 victory.

In the second, three consecutive kills by Tally McDonald leveled the set at 4-4. RIT converted six straight points to take the lead in the set. The Tigers would take the second set 25-17 to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

Janessa Vaadi had a block and two straight kills to give Keuka an early lead in the third set. But once again, the Tigers would rally. RIT closed out the third set 25-15, winning the match 3-0.
