Women’s Volleyball’s Season Ends in Semi-Finals

MARCY, N.Y. -- The Keuka College Women's Volleyball team lost to top seeded SUNY Poly in four sets on Saturday in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament Semi-Finals.

Keuka College finishes the 2015 season with a 12-17 record.

25-22. SUNY Poly faught back to take the second 25-17 and took the third set 25-15. The Wildcats used a 9-1 start in the fourth set to pace them to a 25-12 set victory, winning the match 3-1.

Freshman Lauren Moelbert led Keuka with 15 kills in the match against the Wildcats. Meghan Calhoun added seven kills in the loss. Alyssa Rex finished with 27 assists for Keuka. The freshman finished the season with 591 assists. Although it does not rank in the top five for season total, Rex is already ranked eighth in school history for assists in a career. Rex also had 10 digs for Keuka. Kate Burke led the team with 15 digs.
