KEUKA PARK, N.Y. -- The Keuka College Women's Volleyball took a pair of matches at home on Saturday as they hosted a North Eastern Athletic Conference crossover. The Green and Gold topped SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Poly, both in three sets.
Keuka (6-14, 4-4 NEAC) relied on their offense against SUNY Cobleskill (5-16, 2-6 NEAC). They held a 37-20 advantage in kills against the Fighting Tigers. Jadine Buddingh led Keuka with 12 kills in the match. Meghan Calhoun added nine kills in the win. Alyssa Rex had a career day for Keuka. She set a new career high with 35 assists in the win. Rachel Bartosz and Kate Burke each had 15 digs for Keuka.
The Green and Gold sat off a match before facing SUNY Poly (18-3, 7-1). Keuka played their best match of the season and defeated the Wildcats in straight sets. SUNY Poly was previous undefeated in conference play. Rex added to her career day by topping her earlier assist total. She assisted on 43 of Keuka's 46 kills in the match. Leading the offensive attack was Buddingh and Lauren Moelbert. They each had 12 kills in the win. Burke had 14 digs in the game and Rachel Bartosz had a match-high three aces.
Keuka College will conclude the NEAC crossover event on Sunday when they host Morrisville State at 2pm in the JMW Recreation and Athletic Complex.
