Women’s Volleyball Drops Pair of NEAC Matches

LANCASTER, PA – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball concluded their first weekend of North Eastern Athletic Conference with a pair of losses. They dropped their opening match against Lancaster Bible College in four sets, and then were swept by Penn St.-Berks in three sets.

In the first match against the Chargers, Jadine Buddingh led the Wolfpack with 12 kills. Meghan Calhoun finished with nine kills and Katelyn Warren and Rachel Elliot each finished with seven. Warren also added two solo and three assisted blocks. Kate Burke finished the match with 28 digs and Alyssa Rex set a new career-high with 28 assists.

Buddingh and freshman Lauren Moelbert led the Wolfpack in the night cap against Penn St.-Berks with eight kills. Rex had 15 assists and Kayla Brown had a career-high 12 assists in the loss. Keuka struggled in finishing their attacks all match. They posted just a .066 hitting percentage against the Nittany Lions.

Keuka College will step out of conference this Wednesday when they travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to face the Bombers in a 6pm match.
