GENESEO, N.Y. – The Keuka College Women's Volleyball fell in three sets to host SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday night at the Schrader Gymnasium
The Wolfpack was only able to manage 24 points in the three sets. Jadine Buddingh led the Keuka with four kills. Kate Burke led the team defensively with 12 digs. She also added a pair of aces. Rachel Elliot and Alyssa Girod each added three kills in the match
Keuka College (2-4) was never able to get things rolling against the Knights. The first set started evenly, but Geneseo (4-6) used a 9-0 run to build a lead and continued on to a 25-14 win. Set two saw the Knights lead the Wolfpack 15-2 at one point. Geneseo easily cruised to the 25-9 win. The final set once again saw a nine point run by Geneseo lead to a 25-14 set win, giving the Knights a 3-0 victory in the match.
Keuka College will travel to Lancaster Bible College this weekend to open North Eastern Athletic Conference play. The Wolfpack will face Penn College on Friday night. They will then face the host Chargers and Penn St.-Berks on Saturday.
