The Keuka College women's volleyball team traveled to Alfred State Saturday morning for a non-conference clash, and the Wolfpack suffered a four-set loss to the Pioneers in Alfred, N.Y.
The Wolfpack (8-11) dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-21 and 25-20. Keuka took the third set in come-from-behind fashion, prevailing 26-24, but the Pioneers closed out the match with a 25-21 win in the fourth set.
Senior Rachel Parker (Chaumont, N.Y./Thousand Islands) recorded her third double-double of the year, compiling 13 assists with 13 digs, and added 2 service aces, but the Green and Gold's five-match winning streak came to an end.
Senior Devan Curtis (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) added 9 digs with 7 kills and 3 aces, freshman Katelyn Warren (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison) had six kills with four blocks, and sophomore Rachel Elliot (Dundas, Ont./Parkside) had four kills with two blocks in the loss.
Sophomore Tally McDonald (Romulus, N.Y./Romulus) recorded four kills, freshman Meghan Calhoun (St. George, Ont./Paris District) added eight digs with three kills, and senior Julia Coryell (Phelps, N.Y./Midlakes) had 11 assists with seven digs for the Green and Gold.
The Wolfpack host Alfred University for a 7 p.m. non-conference clash Wednesday evening.
