Women’s Volleyball Caps 4-0 Record at NEAC's

The Keuka College women's volleyball team remained perfect in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play thanks to convincing victories against Cazenovia and SUNY Cobleskill Sunday in Cazenovia, N.Y.

The Wolfpack (7-10, 7-0 NEAC) swept Cazenovia College 25-22, 25-15 and 25-23, and knocked off SUNY Cobleskill 24-26, 25-14, 25-7 and 25-12.

Senior Devan Curtis (San Clemente, Calif./San Clemente) recorded nine kills with eight digs, and freshman Sam Thrasher (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) added seven kills with five digs against Cazenovia.

Sophomore Tally McDonald (Romulus, N.Y./Romulus) added five kills, classmate Rachel Elliot (Dundas, Ont./Parkside) added four kills with three blocks, and freshman Katelyn Warren (Elmira Heights, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison) chipped in with four kills in the win over Cobleskill.

Senior Rachel Parker (Chaumont, N.Y./Thousand Islands) recorded 18 assists, while classmate Julia Coryell (Phelps, N.Y./Midlakes) added eight assists with four digs, and sophomore Kaitlin Burke (Painted Post, N.Y./Corning West) had 10 digs with three aces in the sweep.

Taking on Cobleskill, Thrasher compiled a career-high 11 kills with four digs, Curtis added nine kills with eight digs, and McDonald had six kills as the Wolfpack won their seventh straight conference game to start the year.

Parker handed out 19 assists to go with 6 digs and 4 aces, Coryell had 15 assists with five digs, and Warren added 6 blocks with 4 aces and 3 kills in the win.

Burke added nine digs and senior Danielle Alred (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) had five kills and two digs in the win over Cobleskill.

The Wolfpack host the University of Pitt-Bradford at 7 p.m. Thursday night in a non-conference clash.
