ONEONTA, N.Y. — The Keuka College Women's Soccer team lost on Saturday to Utica College 2-0 in the Erinn K. Brozman Cup at Hawtwick College.

Both sides had attempts on goal early on Saturday. The Wolves had a quality attempt midway through the first, but the effort by Abby Ricards was tipped by the Pioneer keeper, hit the crossbar, and slid over the goal. Minutes later, Utica got on the board. They threaded a through ball through the Keuka defense. Pegg charged off her line, but the ball was placed past her for the 1-0 Utica lead. Utica College would hold onto the 1-0 at halftime.
The Green and Gold increased the pressure off of the start of the second half. In total, Keuka College outshot Utica 15-4 in the second and held a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks. Unfortunately for the Wolves, the Pioneers keeper was up to the task. She recorded nine saves in the second half alone to hold the shutout. Utica added a goal in the 72nd minute as they defeated Keuka College 2-0 on Saturday.
