ALFRED, N.Y. — Keuka College senior Lauren Anten became the 14th player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points on Saturday as Keuka College defeated Alfred State 70-43.
Anten led Keuka College (6-3) with 14 points in the win. Jariah Johnson recorded a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. Riley Record rounded out the double-digits scoring for the Wolves with 10 points.

Both teams struggled from the floor early in the game. Keuka and Alfred State combined to shoot 25% from the floor, 9-36. The Wolves ended the frame with six straight points to lead 12-10 after the first quarter. The run was capped by a jumper by Lauren Anten at the buzzer, surpassing 1,000 points in her career.
The Wolves maintained their lead in a low-scoring second quarter. Keuka College outscored the Pioneers 10-8 in the quarter to take a 22-18 lead into halftime.
Alfred State scored the first six points of the second half to take the lead, but the Keuka offense began to roll. The Green and Gold went 11-16 from the floor in the third. Keuka College topped their first half scoring output of 22 points by scoring 23 in the third quarter to take a 45-32 lead into the final quarter.
Keuka College continued the momentum in the fourth. The Wolves were 65% from the floor, scoring a game-high 25 points in the frame. Keuka earned the 70-43 road victory at Alfred State.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves will host Elmira College on Monday night on David M. Sweet Court. It will be the first time that Keuka College and Elmira College has met in women's basketball since the 2001-02 season. The Soaring Eagles have won the past 11 games against Keuka. The last win for the Wolves came in the 1994-95 season.
