The Keuka College women's basketball team kicks off the 2015 portion of the season with four straight road games, beginning with Saturday afternoon's 1 p.m. tilt against North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foe Cazenovia College.
Under first-year head coach Sarah Gaffney, the Wolfpack (1-5, 1-1 NEAC) split their final two games of the fall semester. Keuka rallied for a 67-51 win over SUNY Cobleskill Dec. 6 in the home opener before falling to SUNY Polytechnic 62-49 Dec. 7 to conclude the first semester.

Gaffney's squad has four student-athletes averaging at least 6.3 points per game.
Senior Brittany Hadley (Jasper, N.Y./Jasper-Troupsburg) leads the team in scoring average (12.5 ppg.), and is fourth in rebounding (5.5 rpg.).
Sophomore Katie Stuart (Tupper Lake, N.Y./Tupper Lake) is second in scoring (7.8 ppg.) and is third in rebounding (5.7 rpg.).
Junior Mackenzie Cole (Ogdensburg, N.Y./Ogdensburg Free Academy) is third in scoring (6.5 ppg.), while senior Erica Pendrak (New Hartford, N.Y./New York Mills) is fourth in scoring (6.3 ppg.) and is tied with Stuart for the team lead in assists (1.7 apg.).
Hadley and Pendrak combined for 33 points as the women's basketball team earned its first win with a victory over SUNY Cobleskill.
Hadley scored 17 points with two steals, and Pendrak added 16 points with four rebounds as Keuka outscored Cobleskill 36-20 in the second half to earn the win.
The Wolfpack closed the game on a 21-5 run over the final 8:23. Sophomore Chinyere Ukwu (Roosevelt, N.Y./St. Dominic) matched her career-high with 12 rebounds, and added 6 points with 6 blocked shots.
Classmate Tally McDonald (Romulus, N.Y./Romulus) set career-highs in points (eight) and rebounds (seven), while senior Amanda Kubitz (Spencerport, N.Y./E.J. Wilson) added 7 points with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in the win.
Cole had 6 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists for Keuka, which connected on 44.9 percent of its shots (22 of 49).
An aggressive Wolfpack defense limited Cobleskill to 25.9 percent shooting (15 of 58) while forcing 22 turnovers.
Against SUNY Poly, Kubitz recorded her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Hadley and Pendrak each scored eight points in the loss.
After taking on Cazenovia, the Wolfpack continue their roadtrip with a 5 p.m. NEAC clash Wednesday night against Morrisville State. Keuka's 2015 home opener is against Lancaster Bible College at 6 p.m. Jan. 23.
