Wolves Runners Open Season at Houghton at Night

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Keuka College Cross Country team opened the 2017 season on Friday night at the Highlander Short Course Twilight Invitational, hosted by Houghton College.

In the Women's race, Keuka College finished in sixth place as a team. The Keuka College Men's Cross Country team finished in seventh place on Friday.

Women's Race – 4K

Lead Wolf: After an All-Conference season in her freshman year, Sophia Sheldon picked up where she left off. Sheldon led Keuka on Saturday, finishing in 46th place with a time of 17:36.6

Lead Wolf:  Junior Mack Ottens had a strong opening race, running the 5K course with an 6:04 mile pace. Ottens posed an 18:50.4 time, good for 62nd place on Friday.

Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves travel to Morrisville State next Saturday to run in the Morrisville State Invitational. This will be a preview race as the Mustangs will host the NEAC Championships in October.
