Langley, Pollinger Set Season-Bests at SUNYIT

Keuka College's men's cross country team traveled to Marcy, N.Y. to compete in the annual SUNYIT Wildcat Weekend Invitational, and on a picturesque fall day, the Storm placed 14th out of 19 squads on a sunny Saturday morning.

For the fourth straight race, freshman Josh Langley (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen) took first among the Storm's student-athletes. In a field of 164 runners, Langley completed the 8K course in a time of 30 minutes flat.

Langley placed 32nd among scoring runners and set a season-best time for an 8K race, trimming 1:09 off his time from the Hobart Invitational Sept. 21.

Junior Alex Pollinger (Arkport, NY/Arkport) also set a season-best time at the Wildcat Invitational, placing 47th with a time of 31:16, 33 seconds faster than his time at Hobart.

Collectively, Keuka scored 364 points.
