The Keuka College men's cross country team traveled to the annual Roberts Wesleyan Talon Invitational, and the Storm placed fourth on the 5K course in Chili, N.Y.
Freshman Josh Langley (Watkins Glen, NY/Watkins Glen) took first among the Storm's student-athletes for the second consecutive meet. Langley placed 17th among scoring runners with a time of 17 minutes, 57 seconds as the Storm scored 113 points.
Host Roberts Wesleyan College won the men's team title with 15 points, followed by Daemen College (61), Houghton College (69) and the Storm.
Roberts Wesleyan had the top seven finishers, led by Enock Bor, who won the race in 15:47, besting the field of 39 runners.
After Langley, junior Alex Pollinger (Arkport, NY/Arkport) placed 21st with a time of 18:29. Junior Bobby Fogle (Lockport, NY/Lockport) placed 24th with a time of 19:10, followed by sophomore Rich Matrassi (New York Mills, NY/New York Mills), who was 25th with a time of 20:47; and senior Brian DelPino (Oneida, NY/Oneida) who was 26th with a time 20:51.
After the Roberts Wesleyan Invite, Keuka will compete at Hobart College (Sept. 21), SUNYIT (Sept. 28) and Cazenovia (Oct. 5) before closing with the annual CCOC Championships (Oct. 19) and the NEAC Championships (Nov. 2).
