LANCASTER, Pa. — The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team lost Saturday in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Semi-Finals to hosts and top-ranked Lancaster Bible College in straight sets.
#10 Lancaster Bible College 3 vs. Keuka College 0 – 25-17, 25-15, 32-30
After a tight start to the match, the Chargers scored six straight to take a 12-7 lead over Keuka. The Wolves cut the margin to three, but that would be as close as they would make it as Lancaster Bible College took the opening set 25-17.
The second set followed the same script as Lancaster Bible College used a mid-set run to take control as the Chargers took a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-15 second set victory.
Lancaster Bible College made a run to take a 17-10 lead in the third set, but Keuka College had a response. The Wolves scored 10 of the next 12 points to take a 20-19 lead. A kill by JP Nery let the Wolves serve for the set, but back-to-back kills by Lancaster flipped the advantage to the Chargers. The Wolves would serve for the set two more times in the third set, but the Chargers survived. Conversely, Keuka College survived three match points by Lancaster Bible, however on the fourth attempt, the Chargers hit an aces as Lancaster Bible College won the third set 32-30 to sweep the match.
