UNION, N.J. – The Keuka College Men's Volleyball team lost on Friday night to Kean University in a non-conference match.
Keuka College (7-5, 4-2 NEAC) will remain in New Jersey for a pair of matches on Saturday. They will face the College of Staten Island and New Jersey City University.
Connor Gail led Keuka with 12 kills, which tied his career-high. Connor Hinman was also in double figures with 11 kills in the match. Aaron Brill finished with eight kills and added a pair of aces. Chris Corcoran had a team-high 19 assists and Cooper Lyon added 14 digs.
Kean scored the first four points of the match and led by four halfway through the first set. Keuka would rally, however, and closeout the first set 25-22. The Cougars, who were receiving votes in the latest AVCA poll, would bounce back. They took advantage of 26 Keuka errors over the final three sets and won out, taking the sets 25-18, 25-20, and 25-11, to defeat Keuka College 3-1 in the match.
