SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Soccer team lost their season-opening game to hosts Union College on Friday evening.

Union College scored right away on Friday, netting a goal just 26 seconds into the game. The Dutchmen added a pair of goals midway through the first half to make it 3-0. Union had a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks and outshot the Wolves 13-6 in the frame. The Green and Gold got one back as freshman Seth Spurgeon scored in the final minutes of the half to cut the Union lead to 3-1 at the half.
Union College would extend their lead in the second half with a goal in the 53rd minute. The game was played closer in the frame with Union holding a 7-4 advantage in shots and 3-1 advantage in corners. The Dutchmen would continue onto the 4-1 victory.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves remain on the road on Saturday against another Liberty League opponent. Keuka College will face Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. It will be the first ever meeting between the Wolves and the Thoroughbreds.
