KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Soccer team lost on Tuesday evening to the University of Rochester by the score of 2-0 at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Christopher Spaulding made six saves in goal for Keuka College (1-4, 0-0 NEAC).

The Keuka College defense did a strong job in the first half against the powerful Yellowjacket offense. Rochester generated multiple chances but the Wolves back line were able to clear the ball away and force low percentage shots. In the 23rd minute, miscommunication between the Yellowjacket defense and keeper led to a race to a 50/50 ball between Rohel Duncan and the Rochester keeper. Duncan got to the ball, but the save was made to keep the game scoreless. In the 32nd minute off of a free kick, an attempted clear found a Rochester player open in the box. He headed it into the open goal for the 1-0 lead.
The lead for Rochester doubled in the second half as they scored off of a corner kick in the 51st minute. Keuka was able to generate goal pressure in the following minutes, but were unable to make the final connection in the box. Rochester would maintain the shutout, defeating Keuka College 2-0 on Tuesday.

Coming up for Keuka College: The North Eastern Athletic Conference schedule is knocking at the door for Keuka College. The Wolves travel to SUNY Cobleskill this Saturday to face the Fighting Tigers at 1pm. The two teams battled to a 1-1 tie in Keuka Park last year.
