Wolves Shutout Wildcats in Men’s Soccer

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Keuka College Men's Soccer team shutout Penn College on the road on Sunday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference game.

The Wolves (6-2-3, 4-1-3 NEAC) will return home on next weekend for a pair of conference games. Keuka will host Lancaster Bible College on Friday evening and Penn St.-Berks on Saturday afternoon.

Rachid Blanken and Paulin Kolodja each had a goal and an assists for the Wolves. Sean Pasono and Mike Pastorella also added goals in the win.

Keuka College struck quickly with a goal in the 15th minute. After conceding a corner kick, the Wolves raced down the field on the counter. Leandro Curran found Sean Pasono for his third goal of the season. The Green and Gold controlled possession for most of the half. In the 41st minute, Paulin Kolodja sent a ball in from the left side and found Rachid Blanken to give Keuka a 2-0 lead. Just before the halftime whistle, Blanken found Pastorella with six seconds left in the first to give the Wolves a 3-0 lead at the half.

The Wolves added to their lead minutes in the second as Paulin Kolodja converted a penalty kick to make it 4-0. Keuka College played out the half, preserving the shutout, on their way to the 4-0 conference victory.
