KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Keuka College Men's Soccer team defeated Penn St.-Berks on Wednesday afternoon by the score of 3-1 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Quarterfinals.

With the win, Keuka advances to the NEAC Semi-Finals this weekend. They will face Wells College on Saturday at Morrisville State College.

Paulin Kolodja saved his best game of the season for the playoffs. He finished the game with a goal and two assists for the Green and Gold. Ben Schreiber and Rohel Duncan each added goals in the victory. Preston Vick made six saves for Keuka.

The quarterfinal matchup began with the two teams battling for possession. The first shot of the game did not come until 15 minutes in but Keuka made it count. Ben Schreiber scored the opening goal with the assist from Paulin Kolodja. Keuka started to press the Nittany Lion net and got back on the board in the 22nd minute. The roles were reversed this time as Schreiber set up Kolodja for the goal, giving Keuka a 2-0 advantage. Penn St.-Berks cut into the margin in the 37th minute, but a pair of yellow cards following the goal left the Nittany Lions short-handed the rest of the match. Keuka took advantage of the numbers minutes later as Rohel Duncan scored in the 39th minute to restore the two-goal lead, 3-1. Keuka would maintain that lead into the halftime break.

Playing with a man advantage, Keuka was able to control the play in the second half. The Green and Gold held onto possession. Berks attempted a late flurry, but every attempt in the half was saved by Preston Vick. Keuka would maintain their lead throughout the second half and defeat Penn St.-Berks 3-1.
