YONKERS, N.Y. – Behind five first half goals, the Keuka College Men's Soccer team remained unbeaten when they defeated host Sarah Lawrence College 5-0.

Ben Schreiber continued his hot start with a pair of goals and an assists for Keuka. The five points in the game sets a new career-high for the senior. Rachid Blanken finished the game with a goal and an assists. Matt Hey and Christian Hewitt also added goals for the Green and Gold.

Keuka College now has a week off to prepare for their North Eastern Athletic Conference opener when they travel to Lancaster Bible College next Saturday. The Chargers eliminated Keuka from the NEAC Tournament in overtime last season.

The Green and Gold got on the board in the 10th minute when a pass from Joe Maier found Rachid Blanken right down the middle of the field. Blanken finished from 15 yards out for his second goal of the season and a 1-0 lead. Minutes later, Paulin Kolodja found Schreiber in the middle of the box for the goal. Schreiber doubled up off a cross from Blanken in the 21st minute, and Keuka was up 3-0. In the 31st minute, Schreiber centered a ball for Hey, who converted from the penalty spot. Keuka rounded off its first half outburst in the 40th minute. Christian Hewitt took a pass from Mike Celestino and buried the ball for the 5-0 lead. Keuka took the lead into halftime and held it the final 45 minutes on their way to the victory.
