Both teams struggled shooting the ball early before settling into the game. It would be until the 12-minute mark that either team broke double-figures as James Barnes converted a three-point play to give the Wolves an 11-7 lead. That was a part of a 7-0 run for Keuka College that game the Wolves a six-point lead, 13-7, their largest of the evening. Wells College responded with 11 unanswered points to take the lead back. The Express knocked down a three with five seconds left in the first to take a 29-19 lead into halftime.

Keuka College's first field goal of the second half came five minutes in, however the Wolves used good defense and free throw shooting to keep the game within reach. The duration of the second half was Keuka fighting to stay in the game. The Wolves were able to shrink the margin to six at 46-40 with 7:27 left to play, but Wells answered with a pair of threes to push the lead back to double digits. The margin would get back down to six in the final minute, but that would be as close as the Wolves would make it as they fell on Wednesday 61-53 to Wells College.
