CASTLETON, VT. — The Keuka College Field Hockey team lost on Saturday at Castleton University 7-1 in a non-conference game.

The hosts took advantage of an opening-minute penalty stroke to take the lead on Saturday. The Wolves responded six minutes in as they took advantage of a penalty corner. The ball worked around by Vanessa Wilkins and Nicole Wilson found the stick of Adele Fairbrother and the senior found the cage for her first goal of the season. Castleton would add three goals in the final four minutes of the quarter to lead 4-1 after the first.
Castleton University added goals in each the following three quarters. The Green and Gold played their best frame in the third. Keuka College had three shots in the period and led in penalty corners 6-3. Despite the advantage, Keuka was unable to score as the Wolves fell 7-1 on Saturday.
