KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Nicole Wilson scored with 2:56 left in the first overtime period to give Keuka College a 5-4 victory over Elmira College in field hockey on Tuesday night.
Wilson had her hand in every goal for Keuka College (4-12, 2-2 NEAC). The freshman finished with three goals and two assists in the win. Fellow freshman Rielly Albee scored a goal and added an assist. Also scoring for the Wolves was freshman Hannah Moon.
Keuka College 5 vs. Elmira College 4 - Overtime
Elmira College got on the board first on Tuesday night, scoring a pair of goals in the opening 10 minutes for the early 2-0 lead. Keuka got one back in the 23rd minute. The ball was played into the circle. Rielly Albee fought for it in a crowd on the right post and knocked it loose, allowing Wilson to hit it home, making it 2-1. Elmira College carried that lead into halftime
Minutes into the second half, the Green and Gold was able to draw the game level. Nicole Wilson set up Hannah Moon for the goal to make it 2-2. However, Elmira College re-established their two goal lead, scoring a pair to take a 4-2 lead. A minute after the Soaring Eagles' fourth goal, Wilson assisted on a goal by Rielly Albee to draw the margin back to one goal. With just minutes left to play, Nicole Wilson took the ball around midfield and weaved her way through the Elmira College defense. She took the ball into the box and shot it off the inside of the left post and the ball rolled over the line to complete the comeback and force the game into overtime tied 4-4.
In the extra frame, both teams had their changes going up and down the field. As the first overtime period was drawing to a close, Brianna Harris carried the ball down the right side of the field and towards the goal. She got in behind the defense and passed it to the far post where Nicole Wilson hit it home to give Keuka College at 5-4 overtime victory.

Coming up for Keuka College: The Wolves host Wilson College on Saturday in the North Atlantic Conference West Division Championship. The 1pm game will be at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex. The winner of the game will advance to next weekend's NEAC/NAC Championship with the winner of that game going to the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Tournament.
