Keuka Returns to Action in the Equestrian Ring

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — After nearly three months off, the Keuka College Equestrian team returned to action this past weekend, competing in a show at Skidmore College.

The Wolves totaled 24 points, their second-highest total of the year, in finishing in ninth place out of 10 competing teams.

KC Notes:

  • Maisy Pautz took third her first time competing in Open on the Flat. The Open level is the highest level in collegiate equestrian
  • Diana Lynch record her first first-place performance, winning the Limit over Fences class
  • Rocio Figueroa placed second in Pre-Novice, her first time competing in the higher class after pointing out of Introductory
  • Aly Breckenridge continued her strong performances in Introductory. She placed second on Sunday. For the six shows this season, Breckenridge has one first, three second, and two third place finishes in her class.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves have two shows left to continue to qualify for regionals. Keuka College will next be in action on Saturday, February 29, competing in a show at Hartwick College.
