The Wolves took second in the Small Co-ed Advanced division on Sunday

On Sunday, March 8, 2020 the Keuka College Cheerleading team opened their competition season at the Upstate Collegiate Championships, hosted by Elmira College. The Wolves finished second out of four teams in the Small Co-ed Advanced division. Multiple teams from across New York State and Pennsylvania competed, including Gannon University, Cornell University, and Mount Saint Mary College in Keuka's division.

The Wolves put out a strong routine, with earning large scores in the standing tumbling, basket tosses and jumps. One small mistake happened during the running tumbling section, but Keuka rebounded and hit their stunting section.  A building issue caused one minor issue in the pyramid, but the team recovered and nailed the remaining two pyramid structures in their routine.

Overall, Keuka had 1.0 in deductions, stemming from the tumbling touch down and the pyramid issue. Gannon University finished with .25 in deductions, Mount Saint Mary's College had 1.25 in deductions, and Cornell University finished with 2.0 in deductions.

The Wolves will be back in action on Saturday, March 14, 2020 for theiir first ever home collegiate cheerleading competition.  The Keuka Cheer Classic will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.
