As a testament to his baseball skills, Dave Pietraszek still holds six Keuka College records 11 years after graduation: games played (127), games started (126), at bats (448), hits (162), runs (101), and singles (123). He is No. 2 in home runs (10), triples (8), RBIs (78), sacrifice flies (8), and total bases (229). His .362 career batting average, No. 4 in College annals, was boosted by a .393 mark in 2002. A complete player, Pietraszek played first base, third base, and the outfield, and ranks among the career top eight in total chances, putouts, and assists. He was a perennial All-NEAC selection and parlayed a potent bat and versatile glove into three straight ECAC Division III Upstate first all-star team selections at the utility position.
Pietraszek was inducted into the Keuka College Athletics Hall of Fame on October 17, 2015.
