Junior Riley Record from the Women's Basketball team has been named the first female student athlete of the week of 2020.
Record averaged 18.3 points per game for the week, hitting at least three three-pointers in each of the games. Record scored 17 points at home, as Keuka played William Smith College on Monday. Against the Herons, the junior hit four threes for the second straight game. On the road against Lancaster Bible College, Record furthered her strong streak with 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists, guiding the Wolves to a victory. She hit three more threes in the game, moving into sixth on the career three-point list. Wrapping up the weekend, Keuka was on the road to Gallaudet University in which Record led with 20 points and added three rebounds, and two assists.
Riley Record leads the Wolves with 14.3 points per game this season. Record ranks in the top ten in the North Eastern Athletic Conference in points per game. She also ranks seventh in the NEAC with 26 threes this season and is also in the top ten in the league wiht a 70% free throw percentage.
North Eastern Athletic Conference continues for the Wolves. Keuka College travels to SUNY Cobleskill on Wednesday and hosts Cazenovia College on Saturday.
